The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a motorcycle crash near 44th Street and Thunderbird Road on Saturday that left another rider dead. The crash is believed to have been caused by a helmetless motorcycle driver colliding with an SUV.
A DPS trooper was involved in a motorcycle crash on I-10 westbound near 43rd Avenue on Tuesday evening, shutting down several lanes of traffic. The trooper was injured, but their condition is unknown.
DPS also reported a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on the northbound lanes of I-17 near Union Hills Drive on Tuesday night. The unidentified motorcyclist was killed in the crash.
