A35 partially blocked by crash
Motorists are being warned to expect delays after a crash partially blocked a main road
The A35 is partially blocked this morning after a crash involving two cars.
The incident happened on the westbound carriageway between the B3081 Ashley Heath roundabout and the B3073 Christchurch Road at around 7:30am this morning (Monday, July 24).
The road is partially blocked and police are on scene. Motorists are being advised to seek alternative routes where possible.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.33am to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A35 between Ashley Heath and Christchurch. Officers are currently attending the scene and the road is partially blocked. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes where possible."
Diversion route
A diversion route has been put in place. Westbound traffic is being diverted via the B3081, B3073 and A31.
The road is expected to be closed for some time while police investigate the incident and recover the vehicles involved.
