NOAH and ABEMA Announce Exclusive PPV Deal for Nippon Budokan Show
Cross Over in Sendai to Air Exclusively on ABEMA PPV
Free Simulcast of First Three Matches on NOAH YouTube Channel
WRESTLE-1 and ABEMA have announced a new partnership that will see the streaming service become the exclusive PPV provider for NOAH's upcoming Nippon Budokan show, Cross Over in Sendai.
The show will take place on May 24, 2024, and will feature a stacked card of matches, including the main event between GHC Heavyweight Champion Naomichi Marufuji and challenger Kaito Kiyomiya.
The first three matches of the show will be simulcast for free on NOAH's official YouTube channel, but the rest of the show will only be available on ABEMA PPV.
This is a major coup for ABEMA, which has been rapidly expanding its coverage of pro wrestling in recent years. The streaming service is now the exclusive home of both NOAH and Wrestle-1, and it also has deals with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling.
For NOAH, this deal is a sign of the company's growing popularity. NOAH has been consistently putting on high-quality shows in recent years, and the Nippon Budokan show is sure to be one of the biggest events of the year.
